Here are my favorite woodblock print art.
Those are made by Judy Ongg.
Judy Ongg is a Taiwanese-born actress , singer and a famous woodblock print artist in Japan.
She has been involved in woodblock print making for about 25 years, and she developed a strong interest in images of many kinds of flowers and old Japanese architecture.
Her exhibition was held in July.
I was really taken by her works at first sight!
Ho-oh-do(or Phoenix Hall ) the woodblock print she made was donated to Byodo-in Temple in Kyoto.
I saw it here at the exhibition in July, and it was so stunning.
Well, I don’t thnik I can start making woodblock print like her,but I made another cutout picture.
Here it is!!
I made it pretty well!!!!
I think your cutout picture is amazing!!

Thank you for visiting and reading my old post. I am so happy to hear that you also liked Judy’s work.
Please visit her site below, I think you can purchase the handkerchief and scarf, but I don’t know where we can buy her wood-block print art…..
